Print Lab 
Photography majors have access to the Department's two state of the art Digital Imaging Labs featuring forty digital workstations and the latest inkjet printing technology with the capacity to print up to 44 inches wide. Print Lab Hours. Print Lab Pricing.


Scanning
Photography majors have 24/7 access to room 313 via door code to a twenty-station digital lab furnished with cutting‐edge flatbed and virtual-drum scanning capabilities.


Lighting Studio
The dedicated and fully equipped lighting studio is spacious, accessible and well-stocked with hot-lights, monolights and strobe-pack systems – as well as an array of light modifiers, booms, stands, and various grip hardware.  Students must successfully complete PHMD 301: Lighting Studio before access to the Lighting Studio is granted.


Wet Lab and Finishing Area
Students enrolled in Photography courses enjoy open access to the area's wet lab and finishing facilities, including:  a 20 enlarger traditional darkroom (35mm, medium-format, 4x5, & 8x10), a film processing area (tank & reel and Jobo processors), a dedicated non-silver / alt processes lab (with flip-top UV vacuum exposure unit) and print finishing area.

Equipment Checkout 
The Photography program has an expansive and eclectic collection of equipment available for check out by Photography majors. This includes traditional film cameras (35mm, medium-format, 4x5, & 8x10), digital SLRs, lenses, digital audio recorders, microphones, location lighting kits, and more. Students wishing to check out equipment must be currently enrolled in a Photography course* and present a valid student ID. However, a small number of DSLR cameras are available for check out by students in the Departments of Art, Architecture, and Design, even if not enrolled in a Photography course. All equipment is provided on a first-come-first-served basis and can be obtained by visiting the checkout facility during staffed hours. Standard checkout period is 2 days.
