Is the program online?

The program has not been officially approved for online study. During stay-at-home orders for COVID-19, courses are being taught online but will eventually resume in person. Courses are taught at the KU Lawrence and KU Edwards campuses with use of teleconferencing.

What are the application deadlines?
Fall - Priority deadline: April 15, Final deadline: July 15; Spring - Priority deadline: November 15, Final deadline: December 1
What are the application requirements?

Applicants must submit the following: curriculum vitae/resume, statement of design philosophy and approach, official transcripts for undergraduate study and graduate study, three recommendations, portfolio of design work, and GRE (preferred but not required). International applicants must also submit TOEFL or IELTS scores.

What are the admission requirements:?
Bachelor’s degree in a design related field and two years of professional design related work experience.
What is the length of the program?
The program requires the completion of 31 credit hours, which generally takes two years.
How much does the program cost?
